Our Schedule / Movements in 2012

Dec 2011 to January 2012: West Papua

A real yacht charter frontier, West Papua and the islands of the Raja Ampat are known for their fascinating indigenous tribes, rugged terrain, impenetrable rainforests and exquisite, absolutely world-class scuba diving. At the heart of the Wallacea Triangle, this large area, much of which is still unexplored, offers the highest recorded marine diversity of anywhere in the entire world, for fish coral and invertebrates, with over 1,070 fish species, 537 coral species and 699 mollusc species. February to March 2012: Phuket & Langkawi

The area bounded by Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi provinces forms Phang Nga Bay. There are over 100 islands here, and the geology varies from low gently sloping mountains to the steep karst outcrops for which the bay is most famous. The weather between December and April is characteristically dry, with clear blue skies, and refreshing sea breezes. During this time Phang Nga Bay is one of the world's most exquisite maritime playgrounds. Only 120 nautical miles south of Phuket, on the northwest coast of Malaysia, Langkawi is a serene destination of 99 mostly uninhabited islands, with pristine beaches and lush rainforest-covered mountains, ideal for nature lovers.

April 2012: North Borneo & Palawan

Palawan is made up of 1,768 islands and is the second largest province of the Philippines. Sprawled beneath the seas are nearly 11,000 square kilometers of coral reefs. Myriads of fish swim in these underwater gardens and the Bacuit Archipelago, opposite the town of El Nido, is the Philippines most beautiful cruising area. North Borneo has long been an exiting holiday destination for lovers of nature, culture, diving and adventure. Known as the "Land Below the Wind", this lush corner of Borneo lies outside of the typhoon belt free from major climatic disturbances, and is bounded by 3 seas: the South China Sea, the Sulu Sea, and the Celebes Sea. Here you will find tropical islands, including coral atolls and oceanic islands, pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, giant rivers, dense tropical jungle, high mountains, and an abundance of nature & wildlife.

May to September 2012: Bali, Komodo and Nusa Tenggara

Sailing to Komodo and beyond you will cross the imaginary Wallace Line to discover a chain of hundreds of islands that include the Komodo National Park itself - where the flora and fauna of subtropical Asia make a sudden and dramatic change into those typical of Australasia. Blessed with stunning volcanic geography, fascinating cultures and natural diversity, there is nowhere in the world that can compare with the yachting holidays to be experienced in the Komodo National Park and the Lesser Sunda Islands (also known as Nusa Tenggara).
